PAY WHAT YOU WILL
Chinook is about celebrating and welcoming our community. To ensure that everyone can experience the arts with us, we’ve reserved a minimum 25% of seats for each performance for “Pay What You Will” tickets. These tickets allow audience members to see a show for any amount they are able to contribute. Tickets are available in person, on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets may be picked up at the ATB Financial Arts Barns Box Office.
REGISTERING FOR WORKSHOPS
You may register for workshops in person at the ATB Financial Arts Barns Box Office, by phone (780-409-1910), or online at fringetheatre.ca. Due to limited space, we encourage you to register for workshops well in advance. Unless otherwise noted, all workshops are $15 (including GST and service fees).
All venues are barrier free for people who use mobility aids (walkers, wheelchairs, etc). However, we have limited wheel chair spaces for some performances, and recommend calling ahead. ASL interpretation and close captioning is available for select performances. Please contact us to confirm (780-409-1910).
T-COIL HEARING ASSIST LOOP
Our main box office and all theatre venues are equipped with telecoil (t-coil) hearing assist loops (active induction loop systems). This looping system allows those with hearing loss or who are hard of hearing to hear a broadcast of the performance transmitted directly to a hearing aid or cochlear implant electromagnetically with no extra equipment.
How to use the system:
- Check with your hearing aid provider to see if your hearing aids are t-coil equipped. If so, ask to have it activated.
- When you get to the theatre, switch on your t-coil. Adjust your hearing aid volume as needed.
The signal going to your ear will be modified by your own personal hearing aid settings.
Those without hearing aids or a t-coil can still benefit by using a portable receiver with a headset. Portable receivers with headsets are available on a first come, first serve basis, and can be reserved for a performance. For more information, or to reserve a device, please contact us at email@example.com or visit our box office upon arrival.
